The Client Services Associate role at Citigroup Inc. is a dynamic position that requires a developing professional to identify policy and apply specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. This role integrates established disciplinary knowledge within the specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. They will develop a working knowledge of industry practices and standards. The ability to exchange information in a concise and logical way, as well as being sensitive to audience diversity, is essential. The impact of the job holder is restricted to their own team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor money managers' performance and update monthly reports.
  • Provide high-level support to Securities Specialists, including client market updates, new account opening and modification, documentation approval, wire transfers, journals, stock transfers, account maintenance, capital call notices, fixed income maturities, settled free cash, reorganization notices, performance reporting, and Executive Financial Services requests.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the client base and be familiar with target clients for various investment products and offerings.
  • Manage high call volumes, screen and prioritize phone calls, and take initiative with client inquiries.
  • Liaise with Private Banking Universe, including Private Bankers, RO's, Investment Counselors, Securities Specialists, and/or Wealth Team, including Advisors, Relationship Managers, and Investment Counselors.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines, and time management skills.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
