We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Skilled Therapy & Play Services, Inc. in San Carlos, CA.
As a Behavioral Therapist, you will work directly with children and their families to develop and implement behavior plans that promote positive behavior change and improve overall well-being.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement behavior plans for neurodivergent children.
- Provide direct service delivery to families, including in-home, school, and community-based services.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop positive behavior intervention plans.
- Administer and interpret assessments such as VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS, and QBAF.
- Evaluate client needs and create individual interventions while establishing person-centered goals for behavior modifications.
- Document daily progress and provide regular updates to families and other professionals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide training and support to parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Monitor the effectiveness of behavior plans and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Passion for working directly with children and families.
- Proficient in applied behavior analysis and patient care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
- Valid CA Driver's License.
