We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Optum. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading our pharmacy operations and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our pharmacy team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, including dispensing medication, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Clinical Services: Develop and implement clinical services that meet the needs of our patients, including medication therapy management and disease state management.
- Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Staff Development: Provide training and development opportunities to our pharmacy staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Experience: 2+ years of leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Licensure: Current pharmacist's license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Certifications: CPR certified and certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 30 days of hire.
- Leadership Experience: 2+ years of leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.
