Position Overview:
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Lead to oversee the troubleshooting and repair of equipment, manage facility upkeep, execute preventive maintenance, collaborate with external contractors, and assist in engineering projects. This role also involves procuring necessary replacement and repair items and organizing tasks for the maintenance team.
This position requires hands-on involvement, providing support to all Maintenance Technicians with various maintenance responsibilities essential for the operational efficiency of the facility.
Typical responsibilities encompass preventive machine maintenance, facility and equipment repairs, as well as routine cleaning tasks.Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively with all team members. Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems of production machinery. Fix auxiliary equipment including temperature controllers, granulators, and conveyors. Install new machinery and modify existing equipment to fulfill specific requirements. Maintain the facility’s infrastructure, including lighting, ventilation, and HVAC systems. Conduct minor cleaning duties throughout the premises. Execute preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery. Support external contractors and engineering teams with special projects. Introduce and implement new technologies. Source and procure replacement and repair components. Facilitate opportunities for the professional growth and development of the maintenance team. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the technician team. Organize tasks for maintenance personnel. Lead and mentor maintenance technicians. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.Essential Skills
