Position Overview:
MAG Aerospace is in search of a dedicated Systems Security Engineer Specialist to deliver expert systems engineering assistance to a critical acquisition initiative.
Your substantial background with NAVAIR SETR and technology acquisition methodologies will empower you to assess and analyze technological needs and solutions.
This position requires on-site presence.Requires a Top Secret Clearance
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Consult with Program Managers and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leaders on technical issues related to Systems Security Engineering.
Oversee, guide, and compile the evaluation of engineering specifications, testing, and reporting throughout the lifecycle support of the comprehensive range of SSE disciplines (including Cybersecurity, Anti-Tamper, Software Assurance, Supply Chain Risk Management, and OPSEC).
Create and assess engineering documentation during the systems engineering/acquisition lifecycle of the platform, systems, or subsystems.
Facilitate and potentially lead program management meetings to discuss engineering and acquisition necessities in the realm of Program Protection Planning (PPP) for Critical Program Information (CPI).
Act as a consultant and advisor for the program to various segments of government, industry, and the Department of Defense regarding System Security Engineering matters.
Engage in program and Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) and evaluate procurement specifications and data packages; assess T&E suitability/supportability documentation; and provide technical insights on Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and/or iterative upgrades.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
A minimum of 4 years of experience in business, management, development, and integration related to aircraft, weapons, and/or operations, with at least 3 years in the Naval Aviation systems engineering domain.
Proficient in the creation of systems engineering documentation such as Anti-Tamper Plans, Test Plans, PMPs, SEMP/SAMPs, ICD, CDD, and CPD in accordance with the latest DoD 5000 series directives.
Must possess design experience relevant to aircraft in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hardware/Software Integration, or System Integration.
Demonstrated proficiency in planning, management, budgeting, and coordinating technical and contract requirements.
Familiarity with developing DoD acquisition and technical documentation in support of anti-tamper initiatives and the capability to conduct technical assessments of anti-tamper features.
The minimum educational requirement is:
A Bachelor's degree in an engineering, technical, business, or management discipline is essential.
Other Qualifications
Must hold an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Must be a US citizen.
