Job Description

Computer World Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Virtualization and Cloud Computing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for installing, operating, securing, and maintaining physical/virtual Microsoft-based servers in support of Active Directory. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the integrity and security of our systems, as well as the reliability and performance of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain virtual and physical servers, including Microsoft-based servers.
  • Provide expert-level support for system administration, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our systems, including implementing operating system enhancements and configuring security policies.
  • Monitor and maintain the availability of virtual and physical storage, ensuring that it meets mission-required resources for internal and GCC-managed enterprise services.
  • Support the deployment, installation, operation, monitoring, sustainment, and security of vulnerability and assessment systems and services.

Requirements

Education & Experience
  • BA/BS or MA/MS from an accredited university (required).
  • Minimum of 12+ years of related IT experience (required).
Certifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (required).
  • CompTIA Cloud+ (required).
  • One of the following certifications is required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Security Clearance
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance (required).
  • US Citizen or permanent resident.

Other
  • Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to meet mission requirements and undergo training may be required.
