Job Title: Branch Manager

This is a key leadership role within Red River Federal Credit Union, responsible for the efficient and effective management of a full-service office. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing business relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote the credit union within the community through various means, including visits, mailings, and phone calls.
  • Initiate contact with potential companies or community businesses to develop business relationships.
  • Make loans to creditworthy members and eligible prospective members, ensuring that all necessary verifications are completed.
  • Ensure the office is open and ready to conduct business each business day, and assume overall administrative responsibility for the operation of the office.
  • Manage direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company.
  • Monitor performance for compliance with laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Help solve problems when called upon or needed in the clerical operations of the lending and/or teller functions.
Qualifications:
  • Two or more years of experience as a consumer loan officer for a credit union or other financial institution, preferred.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent with four-year college degree preferred.
  • Competent computer skills and use of standard office equipment.
  • Ability to meet, speak, and deal effectively with people, being professional always.
  • Must be comfortable and effective in promoting the credit union services and products.
  • Must be able to participate in events within the community and work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
