We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery team at Allina Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care, working closely with physicians to diagnose, treat, and consult with patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care for patients, including comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Order and interpret medical diagnostics, prescribe medications, and conduct patient education.
- Consult with physicians when necessary and refer patients for specialty care when appropriate.
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- 2-5 years of experience post-Physician Assistant training preferred.
- Licensed Physician Assistant - MN Board of Medical Practice required.
- ACLS-BLS Tier 2 - Multisource certification within 180 days.
- Certification as Physician Assistant - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 32 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently, in accordance with Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy.
