About the Role:

  • As an Occupational Therapy Assistant Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients develop the skills they need to perform daily tasks and maintain their independence.
  • You will work closely with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to create personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Your expertise in occupational therapy will enable you to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses and adapt to new challenges.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas where they need support.
  2. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
  3. Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  4. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.

Requirements:

  • Must meet all state educational requirements for occupational therapy assistants.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in occupational therapy or a related field.
  • Active state license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
