Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This full-time role involves evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients, as well as modifying therapy programs and goals to suit each patient's needs.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate closely with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure effective and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients, modifying therapy programs and goals as necessary.
  • Perform thorough and timely clinical documentation and enter charges accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and staff.
  • Supervise ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
  • Advance clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and evidence-based practices.
  • Ensure adherence to national, state, and organizational regulatory guidelines.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $30 - $40 per hour, based on location in Waco, Texas.

Benefits include immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits, 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%, tuition reimbursement, and PTO accrual beginning Day 1.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant work experience.

Candidates must also have less than 1 year of experience, Occupational Therapist (OT) license, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
