We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU Nurse to join our team at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Plan Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Implement and Evaluate Care: Implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques, and provide emotional support and guidance as needed.
- Manage Patient Flow: Manage patient flow and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Active RN license that qualifies to work as an RN in North Dakota (either an ND RN license or a compact RN license issued in another state).
- Experience: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) and one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, CPI, and PALS required within one year, and TNCC required within one year.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): One year of experience as a Registered Nurse and ABLS.
