Job Title: HR Generalist

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is a key member of our HR team, responsible for providing support in various aspects of HR functions. This includes recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and compliance. As an HR Generalist, you will serve as a point of contact for employees and management, providing assistance in day-to-day HR operations and ensuring smooth processes within the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
    • Coordinate new hire onboarding processes, conducting orientation, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
    • Maintain job descriptions and ensure postings are up-to-date.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employees' questions related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
    • Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts in collaboration with management.
    • Maintain positive relationships with employees and promote a productive work environment.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
    • Ensure accurate documentation for employee actions such as promotions, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
    • Handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, filing, and maintaining HR databases.
  • Benefits & Compensation:
    • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, leave of absence, etc.).
    • Provide employees with information on benefits options and ensure timely enrollment and changes.
    • Help manage payroll coordination by collecting and verifying employee attendance, leave records, and other necessary data.
  • Training & Development:
    • Assist in organizing employee training programs, workshops, and seminars.
    • Maintain training records and assist in tracking employee development.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure that HR practices are in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
    • Prepare and submit HR-related reports as required, such as for government agencies or internal audits.
    • Assist with audits and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Assist with employee recognition programs and team-building activities.
    • Support initiatives aimed at improving workplace culture and employee engagement.
