Job Summary

CorVel Healthcare Corporation is seeking a skilled Medical Case Manager to join our team. As a Medical Case Manager, you will play a critical role in facilitating the recovery of injured workers and their families. Your responsibilities will include working closely with patients, medical providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical case management services to individuals through in-person and telephonic communications.
  • Collaborate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Evaluate treatment plans for appropriateness, medical necessity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assess patient progress and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Attend medical appointments, hospital visits, and other relevant meetings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of operation.
  • Certification as a CCM, CIRS, or other case management certifications preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to assigned locations.
