Job Title: Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Unit

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Tower Behavioral Health. As a Registered Nurse on our psychiatric unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer and monitor medications, including psychotropic drugs and other medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify potential health risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide direct care to patients, including administering treatments, performing medical procedures, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, including therapy sessions and group activities.
  • Monitor patients' progress, report any changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse or physician, and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Participate in emergency response situations, including rapid restraints and seclusion procedures, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Current registered nurse licensure in good standing.
  • A minimum of one year recent psychiatric nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification, if applicable.
