Physician - Day Shift Emergency Medicine Specialist

Ochsner Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in Meridian, MS.
Position Highlights:- 28,000+ annual visits with a broad service area of 300,000 patients.
- 24 Bed Emergency Department
- 215-Bed Hospital with closed 23 bed ICU and multi specialists within the system
- 20 hours of MD coverage & 28 Hours NP Coverage.
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- 12- Twelve hour shifts constitute full time
- Flexible Scheduling
- Unique Patient Flow Center through Ochsner to provide 24 hour support and help with patient transfers
- Bedside Ultrasound machine available and tech in-house 24/7
- Hospitalist run codes, not the ED
- Emergency Medicine Director on staff to provide mentorship and support.
- EPIC utilized throughout the health system
- Teaching opportunities with residents rotating through Ochsner Rush at EC Healthnet.
- Salary is commensurate with experience and training
