Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in Meridian, MS. As a leading integrated healthcare system, we offer a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Position Highlights:- 28,000+ annual visits with a broad service area of 300,000 patients.
- 24 Bed Emergency Department with a Level 3 Trauma Center.
- 215-Bed Hospital with a closed 23 bed ICU and multi-specialists within the system.
- 20 hours of MD coverage & 28 Hours NP Coverage.
- Flexible Scheduling with 12- Twelve hour shifts constituting full time.
- Unique Patient Flow Center through Ochsner to provide 24 hour support and help with patient transfers.
- Bedside Ultrasound machine available and tech in-house 24/7.
- Hospitalist run codes, not the ED.
- Emergency Medicine Director on staff to provide mentorship and support.
- EPIC utilized throughout the health system.
- Teaching opportunities with residents rotating through Ochsner Rush at EC Healthnet.
- Salary is commensurate with experience and training.
