Staff Needed: One (1) Teacher Grades 6-8 Bilingual/ESL
Qualifications:
  • Possess a New Jersey English as a Second Language certification in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:27.1 et seq. and N.J.A.C. Title 6 Chapter 11, along with completion of a New Jersey Department of Education sanctioned training program.
  • Hold a bilingual education endorsement (N.J.A.C. 6:11-8.4) and any other relevant endorsements for the position (N.J.A.C. 6:11-6.1, 6.2, or 8.1 et seq.)
  • New Jersey Instructional Teacher Certification with Bilingual Endorsement
  • Familiarity with NJSLS and mandated state assessments
  • Assume professional responsibility for delivering educational experiences and supervising assigned students in a nurturing and constructive classroom environment
  • Experience in working with elementary students
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community
