Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering evidence-based care to patients, families, and communities. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences, needs, and cultural backgrounds.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including referrals, consultations, and transfers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, using clear and respectful language.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
