Job Summary:

We are seeking qualified adjunct/part-time instructors to teach dual credit students enrolled in freshman- and sophomore-level university courses in Criminal Justice. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field, with experience in classroom teaching and online course delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach online, synchronous courses at a variety of days and times
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
  • Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
  • Classroom teaching experience
  • Experience with online course delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PhD in Criminal Justice or a related field
  • Prior university teaching experience
  • Blackboard experience
