Theatre Adjunct Professor Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Theatre Adjunct Professor to join our team at Sul Ross State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Acting I – THEA 1310 and THEA 1351, as well as contributing to shared administrative and recruitment tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Acting I – THEA 1310 and THEA 1351
  • Contribute to shared administrative and recruitment tasks
  • Participate in departmental and/or college-wide committees
  • Create inclusive and engaging learning environments for a diverse student body
Requirements:
  • MFA in Acting or Directing
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Producing or arts management experience
