Job Title: Phlebotomy Specialist

Location: Clifton, NJ

Duration: 6 months+ with a strong possibility of extension.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 12:30 PM, every other Saturday 7:00 AM - 12:30 PM - 1st Shift

Education Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Training as a medical assistant or paramedic is preferred.

· Phlebotomy certification is mandatory in specific states.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve as a representative of the organization to patients in diverse environments, fostering a professional and trustworthy atmosphere.

· Execute phlebotomy tasks with an emphasis on precision and patient comfort.

· Adhere to established protocols for clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing.

· Confirm patient demographic details and ensure proper labeling of specimens.

· Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with established guidelines.

· Uphold a positive image to patients, clients, and the broader community.

Job Requirements:

· Deliver error-free performance in a dynamic environment.

· Operate independently with minimal oversight.

· Exhibit exceptional phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.

· Availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as necessary.

· Comply with organizational policies and procedures, including dress code and safety standards.

· Make informed decisions based on established protocols and demonstrate sound judgment.

· Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license if applicable.

· Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

· Display superior customer service and effective communication abilities.
