We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team in providing top-notch medical support to clients. As an Athletic Trainer at JAG Physical Therapy, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and well-organized athletic training environment. Your responsibilities will include injury assessment and rehabilitation, event support, and collaboration with medical professionals on health education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide athletic trainer services and administrative tasks to contracted organizations and individuals affiliated with JAG PT outreach contracts.
• Establish and maintain effective athletic training programs for contracted organizations, including functional athletic training rooms and updated policies and procedures manuals.
• Offer first aid and injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning services for athletes affiliated with contracted organizations.
• Document injuries, illnesses, treatments, and rehabilitation progress in accordance with JAG PT policy and state licensure standards.
• Create a safe playing environment by monitoring and controlling environmental risks.
• Conduct educational programs for local schools, coaches, athletes, and communities on health and fitness-related topics.
• Act as workers' compensation case manager for professional teams, submitting insurance information, facilitating referrals, tracking claims, and reporting back within HIPPA/FERPA guidelines.
• Utilize effective communication skills to involve athletes, families, and others in plans of care while adhering to HIPPA/FERPA guidelines.
• Collaborate with other JAG PT professionals on programs like physical therapy and physician-related services.
• Regularly communicate with supervising physicians regarding standard operating procedures developed in agreement with the physician and covering AT when not directly supervised.
• Assist with departmental administrative duties and day-to-day operations when not at assigned outreach locations.
• Collaborate with physical therapy service teams in clinics to assist with daily operations.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives and departmental growth projects.
• Oversee ordering of athletic trainer supplies and equipment, maintaining up-to-date inventory.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-approved program and completion of BOC certification.
• Maintain 50 CEUs every two years for BOC certification renewal.
• State licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
• Department of Education clearance (if working in secondary schools and applicable in the state of practice).
• Current BLS certification.
• Maintain Personal Liability Insurance.
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to fluid situations.

Compensation Package:
The salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
