Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R systems, including troubleshooting and adjustments.
  • Install and upgrade HVAC/R systems and components, including chillers, cooling towers, and air conditioning equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and track repairs to ensure system availability.
  • Respond to service calls and PM inspections, producing reports through our CMMS system.
  • Diagnose and repair complex HVAC system issues, requiring strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide expert technical assistance for SCIF operations, including sound baffling techniques and electrical current resolution.
  • Deploy to strategic and tactical mobile facility environments, providing technical support in 24-hour operational environments.
Requirements
  • Vocational or high school diploma or equivalent, with 4 years' experience leading to licensure as a Journeyman HVAC or equivalent license.
  • Final Top-Secret Clearance based on a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Ability to plan, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems not fully covered by technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of HVAC control and monitoring systems, computerized maintenance management systems, and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification.
