We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our team at Avamere Yakima. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional care and services to our residents.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing long-term care, assisted living, healthcare, senior housing, or independent living environments. They will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, communicating effectively with team members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.

As a key member of our team, the Executive Director will play a crucial role in maintaining excellent service quality and occupancy targets while meeting corporate financial goals within established budgetary guidelines. The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically, provide leadership, and make informed decisions that drive business results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement systems for efficient and comprehensive service and patient care.
  • Ensure accountability, communication, and good working relationships with team members.
  • Direct ongoing activity for community relations directors to meet occupancy goals.
  • Compliance with regulatory agencies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in the health industry, business, or gerontology preferred unless state requires an advanced degree.
  • Meet state requirements for Assisted Living Executive Director position.
  • Must have or obtain (within 30 days) First Aid & CPR Certification.
  • Must obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
  • Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders.
  • Two years' experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a retirement or assisted living community.
  • Experience managing high-quality senior living communities with demonstrated success in meeting financial goals specific to assisted or independent living communities.
