About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Labor Planning and Solutions (LP&S) Team within the Amazon Air network. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and driving labor planning improvement opportunities across the network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extract and analyze data from our Business Intelligence (BI) databases to support deep dive activities and inform business decisions.
  • Prioritize, optimize, and deliver timely updates for key metrics, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Automate reports and tools using a combination of SQL and Excel, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data-driven insights to drive projects forward.
  • Uncover trends and correlations through data mining and analysis, developing actionable insights to improve business outcomes.
  • Design and develop dashboards and tools that enable our team and cross-functional partners to self-serve their data needs.
  • Effectively communicate complex data insights to a broad range of stakeholders, using graphical representations to facilitate understanding.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business.
  • 1+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field, with a strong background in Excel VBA macros.
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL or ETL, with a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical or quantitative field.
  • Experience working with Tableau, with a strong understanding of data visualization and storytelling.
  • Experience working with very large datasets, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
