Contract Negotiator Job Description

As a Contract Negotiator at Aston Carter, you will play a critical role in negotiating Contract and Sales Agreement terms. You will serve as a liaison between the customer and/or distributor, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include collecting all documentation related to customer credit applications, analyzing creditworthiness, and establishing payment terms. You will also provide customer service directly to the sales department, customers, distributors, and third parties, maintaining accurate and complete documentation of Contracts & related information. Additionally, you will specialize in reporting various Contracts, as well as possess a clear understanding of all necessary documentation. Your duties will also include processing documents when executed copies are received and sending counter-signed copies back to customers. You will create documents for products received per master contract or Sales Agreement as needed. Furthermore, you will file for State Contractor Licenses and complete Vendor Qualification information. You will also complete and file all documentation required by customers to facilitate prompt payment. Your responsibilities will also include reconciling invoices, monitoring current accounts, identifying past due balances, and following the collection process. You will provide problem resolution in support of Order Administration. You will process documents for payment requests to the accounting and credit departments. You will file paperwork, promptly return phone calls, and troubleshoot problems. You will update internal logs regularly to keep track of needed funds. You will also complete UCC filings when assigned. The ideal candidate will possess hard skills in Excel, Word, and Contracts Experience. This is a fully on-site position in South Windsor, Connecticut. The work environment is a standard office environment in South Windsor, CT.
