Job Summary

The Warehouse Receiver is a critical role at PastryStar, responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of incoming shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy using Microsoft Nav, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Record and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items.
  • Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional warehouse or logistics training is a plus.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
  • Forklift certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if necessary.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
