Child Development Specialist

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Child First Program Clinician to join our team at Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in providing home-based psychotherapeutic intervention to young children and their caregivers using relational, dyadic psychotherapy (CPP) and other modalities.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in mental health, experience working with culturally diverse children and families, and a strong background in parent-child therapeutic work and play therapy with very young children (0-5 years).
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on education and experience, as well as benefits including health/medical, dental, life insurance, paid time off programs, and a 401 K retirement savings plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Family Resource Coordinators to engage families who are referred to the Child First home-based intervention.
- Use trauma-informed CPP to focus on primary attachment relationships of the young child, engaging with both caregiver and child in a supportive, reflective, and exploratory manner.
- Provide consultation to teachers in early care and education settings, as needed.
- Develop a thoughtful, well-integrated clinical formulation and Child and Family Plan of Care, in partnership with the Family Resource Coordinator and family.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral level mental health provider (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, clinical psychologist, other)
- Experience working psychotherapeutically with culturally diverse children and families, including parent-child therapeutic work and play therapy with very young children (0-5 years), for a minimum of three years.
