Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families during the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients during labor and delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers and their babies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in labor and delivery care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
  • 1 year' Nursing experience.
