Compensation: $38,500 - $42,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead lifeguard supervision and ensure aquatic safety, including scheduling and emergency coverage.
- Act as a liaison for private and semi-private swimming lessons in support of the Senior Director.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Aquatics to foster equitable pool usage and a welcoming environment for all users.
- Maintain a consistent number of service hours each week.
- Ensure safety in aquatic environments by keeping decks clean, maintaining water clarity, and adhering to chemical safety protocols.
- Enforce pool regulations professionally and monitor locker room activities.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of lifeguards, providing ongoing feedback and support.
- Support the Senior Director with deck supervision, swim lesson instruction, and administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 1-3 years of experience in pool management or administration is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in swim instruction is preferred.
- American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification is required.
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Availability for one weekend day per week is required.
