Position Overview:
This is an open continuous announcement for qualified applicants to be considered for available vacancies.

Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP):
This role is eligible for the EDRP, a program designed to assist with student loan repayment. Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria and submit their EDRP application within four months of starting the position.

Eligibility:

Compensation and Benefits:
VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package including:
- Competitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $260,000.
- Annual performance bonuses and regular salary increases.
- 50-55 days of paid time off annually, including annual leave, sick leave, and paid Federal holidays.

Work Schedule:

Clinical Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this role involves:
- Conducting independent clinical evaluations of Veterans through their patient panels, emphasizing prevention and self-management.
- Providing comprehensive primary care that integrates evidence-based treatments and shared decision-making.
- Collaborating with a Patient Aligned Care Team to ensure timely and coordinated care for Veterans.
- Staying updated on the latest trends and standards in clinical care.

Administrative Duties:
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives and medical center committees.

Education and Research:
- Commitment to self-development and maintaining current knowledge in clinical care.
- Involvement in clinical research programs and education when appropriate.

Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required; non-citizens may only be appointed under specific conditions.
- A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- A current, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory.
- Completion of residency training in an accredited core specialty program.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires visual acuity, keen hearing, clear speech, and manual dexterity. The incumbent may be exposed to infectious patients and must be capable of working effectively in stressful situations.
