Job Overview

Pave Talent is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our client's dynamic team in the industrial security sector. As a key contributor to their mission, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and installation services for perimeter security systems across the nation.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a prominent player in the industry, offering cutting-edge services such as electric fencing, video surveillance, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and remote support. As a Field Service Technician, you will travel Monday through Friday, only in the Bay Area of California, providing top-notch service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on perimeter security systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows to meet customer service delivery expectations.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and manage inventory to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers regarding service requests and updates.
  • Submit accurate and timely weekly reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of electrical components, relays, and wiring.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Previous experience with access control systems and/or fire alarms is a plus.
  • Background in HVAC, maintenance, or ATM tech roles preferred.
  • Ability to safely maneuver heavy objects and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
