Aircraft Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at REACH Medical Holdings. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of helicopters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components
  • Manage inventory and track equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience as a FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic
  • 3 years of experience working with turbine-powered helicopters
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations and aircraft maintenance systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145
  • Avionics troubleshooting and electrical repair experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely perform work on scaffolding or ladders
  • Ability to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces for varying time durations
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 150 pounds
