POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Conduct visual inspections of items to verify they meet established quality criteria regarding dimensions and design.
  • Accurately clean, trim, and label components.
  • Ensure correct assembly of parts when utilizing gaskets.
  • Package components into cartons and secure them using a tape machine.
  • Affix labels to boxes with a personal stamp.
  • Prepare pallets for collection by the Material Handler.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Construct boxes and apply the necessary labels.
  • Empty grind buckets as required.
  • Check and replenish gaskets, rings, and other essential supplies before concluding the shift.
  • Assist in performing physical inventory counts.
  • Comply with all Employee Conduct and Work Rules.
  • Perform any other assigned responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of cutters and clippers.
  • Prioritize safety and demonstrate awareness and accountability.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be physically capable of executing all tasks outlined in this job description, including bending, stooping, and lifting heavy items weighing up to 40 pounds. The role necessitates mobility to function in a shop floor setting, involving activities such as crawling, kneeling, lifting, pulling, sitting, standing, and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. The typical noise level in the work environment is moderate.
