This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate calculation and distribution of child support payments, including current obligations and arrears.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and interpret legal documents alongside intricate financial management data.
- Utilize complex policies and procedures to ascertain the distribution of financial obligations.
- Conduct thorough research using various databases to verify the accuracy of court orders and payment records.
- Evaluate cases for potential modifications to existing child support orders.
- Gather and analyze information from case files to support decision-making.
- Engage with clients, absent parents, employers, and legal representatives to collect necessary information for administrative or court actions.
- Determine the appropriate steps to ensure the precise distribution of funds.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A solid understanding of case management principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with legal documents and the judicial process.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
- Proficiency in performing complex mathematical calculations.
- Experience with financial recovery processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following experience are encouraged to apply:
- At least one year of experience as a Child Support Services Officer I within Arizona State Service or equivalent experience in another jurisdiction.
