Job Description

Bronwick Recruiting and Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of all city and customer contracts, as well as assisting in the development of the local market area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the hiring process, including collaborating with HR and Safety to ensure a qualified and skilled workforce.
  • Supervise and conduct inspections on all company vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage the facility's operation, including submitting required reports and coordinating with all departments.
  • Ensure all employees receive regular performance evaluations and are held to high standards of quality and productivity.
  • Review and investigate all accidents, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety rules and regulations.
  • Manage staffing levels to minimize employee turnover and ensure a high level of employment in accordance with workload.
  • Review and analyze fleet routing software reports for accuracy and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Resolve customer service discrepancies and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of previous experience in trucking and hauling.
  • Valid Class C driver's license and a record of safe driving for the last three years.
  • Class A MSW License or the ability to obtain one within three months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid waste background with facility management experience.

Compensation: $85k-$95k per year, with full benefits.
