Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care in line with established medical protocols and directives.
  • Utilize a systematic and analytical approach for patient assessment, intervention, and evaluation of outcomes.
  • Maintain clinical proficiency and engage in ongoing education for the specific age groups served.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in base meetings and educational sessions as per the established protocols.

  • Adhere to safety standards to ensure the well-being of yourself, medical and flight personnel, patients, and equipment.
Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor of Nursing is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of recent experience in a critical care environment; five years is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid nursing license from the state of primary practice; a compact license is preferred.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Valid passport.
  • Current certifications from the American Heart Association – BLS, ACLS, PALS.
  • Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification – to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Transport Provider Advanced Trauma Course (TPATC) certification is preferred – to be obtained within one year of hire.
  • Advanced Certification (CFRN) is preferred – to be obtained within two years of hire.
