Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside development, operations, and security teams to weave security practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Design, implement, and uphold CI/CD pipelines that include automated security assessments, vulnerability evaluations, and compliance audits.
  • Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) templates and configurations, ensuring that security best practices are adhered to for cloud resources and infrastructure elements.
  • Conduct regular security evaluations, code assessments, and penetration tests to identify and rectify vulnerabilities in applications, code, and infrastructure.
  • Analyze system and application logs to identify and respond to security incidents.
  • Establish and oversee identity and access management (IAM) solutions, ensuring proper authentication and authorization protocols are implemented.
  • Collaborate with software developers to provide insights on secure coding practices and assist in addressing security vulnerabilities.
  • Engage in incident response efforts, aiding in the investigation and resolution of security incidents promptly.
  • Contribute to the formulation and upkeep of security policies, procedures, and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a DevSecOps Engineer role or similar, emphasizing the integration of security into the software development lifecycle.
  • Extensive experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, Selenium, Fortify, Acunetix, and Prisma Cloud).
  • Proficient in developing DevSecOps solutions at scale across IL5 to IL6+ classification domains.
  • Deep understanding of AWS and familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) along with securing cloud-based applications and services.
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tool integration.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools for static code analysis, dynamic application security testing (DAST), and vulnerability scanning, utilizing tools such as Fortify, Acunetix, and Prisma Cloud.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, common vulnerabilities, and exposure to security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
