Position Overview:

Join Whittier Health Network as a dedicated Registered Nurse, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to work across various shifts.

Compensation:

Base Pay: $48.00 per hour
Per Diem: $44 - $48 per hour
Shift Differentials: Additional compensation for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and document handover reports from outgoing nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident well-being and report any concerns to the nursing supervisor.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records of all care provided.
  • Perform thorough assessments of residents, developing individualized care plans based on their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and provide guidance to ensure high standards of care.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance, ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • Experience in Geriatric Nursing is essential.
