Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Telemetry team at Mercy Hospital Southeast. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs and situations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree).
  • Current RN licensure in the state of hire and/or compact licensure.
  • 1 year of RN experience in a medical telemetry setting (preferred).
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (or equivalent).
  • Additional certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to.
