Job Overview

Position: Fullstack Application Architect (Java)

Role Summary:
The Application Architect will be responsible for executing a greenfield implementation focusing on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Developer Self-Service solutions. The Cloud Developer portal will empower developers with the following functionalities:

  • Monitoring, logging, and performance data collection
  • Resource provisioning, utilization, and claiming
  • Alerting and notifications
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies
  • Authentication management

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in formulating automation strategies and roadmaps, developing automation assets, and creating virtual services/models utilizing Service Virtualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:
The Self-Service capabilities will include:

  • Onboarding/Migration Process:
    Automated onboarding using TOSCA/HELM standards.
  • Control Plane Automation:
    Automated scheduling of worker nodes and lifecycle management of xNF using OCP or similar technologies.
  • Network Automation:
    Support for SOL interface from the Red Hat OCP platform for xNF lifecycle management.
  • Infrastructure Automation:
    Integration of Bare Metal Orchestration (BMO) with existing platforms.
  • Policy and Control Automation:
    Utilization of OCP Control Plane (Master Node) for policy management.

The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting automation scripts, providing quick resolutions to script-related issues, and developing reporting dashboards to keep stakeholders informed about automation testing progress, issues, defects, and return on investment (ROI).

Familiarity with GitOps for platform and application deployment, DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools in the DevOps stack is essential.
