Job Description

Job Title: Sales Associate - Fashion Retail

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Forever 21. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and driving sales growth in our fashion retail store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Create a welcoming environment for customers, respond to their inquiries and needs, and proactively seek opportunities to deliver a great customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise, use basic selling techniques to engage with customers, and introduce current sales, promotions, and brand initiatives to gain customer loyalty.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain the visual standards for the selling floor, fitting rooms, visual displays, and presentations.
  • Operations: Complete sales transactions, process merchandise returns and exchanges, and maintain proper accountability at registers.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and ownership in every interaction, and provide support for all cross-functional departments.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of retail sales experience and previous cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to act with integrity and business maturity.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Demands: Must be able to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Environmental Factors: Must be able to perform repetitive finger, hand, and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, and working with cleaning chemicals.
