Leidos is seeking a Software Developer to support a technical development initiative focused on the Sponsor's web-based applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with a diverse team of developers, DevOps engineers, security specialists, and data engineers. Responsibilities will encompass both front-end (UI) and back-end development tasks.

The software developer will be expected to carry a duty phone on a rotational basis and may need to respond to issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop CloudFormation scripts to create network and application infrastructure in a consistent manner.
- Write custom scripts for installation and configuration of code in EC2 instances.
- Utilize Python for development tasks.
- Create Java and Python applications that utilize Neo4j and Elasticsearch.
- Implement NodeJS PM2 for application monitoring and resilience.
- Apply SAFe agile methodologies to manage workload effectively.
- Leverage Amazon Web Services for cloud solutions.
- Develop RESTful APIs.

Qualifications
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience. Experience may substitute for formal education.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming for web applications.
- Experience working in Agile teams and processes.
- Familiarity with the Spring framework.
- Knowledge of cloud environments.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, Oracle RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Proficiency in Linux.
- Familiarity with frameworks including Spring Boot, Thymeleaf, and Hibernate.
- Additional programming/scripting languages include Groovy, JavaScript, Bash, XML, JSON, YAML, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Software tools include GitHub/Git, Apache, Tomcat, ActiveMQ, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), CloudFormation, Jenkins, Rundeck, Puppet, and NAGIOS.
