About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Ad Hoc LLC. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our software applications, working closely with our team to design, implement, and maintain our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Ruby on Rails, Java, and GitHub.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, mentoring and assisting them in the development of their skills.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients, presenting technical issues and developments in a clear and concise manner.
  • Participate in technical interviews with new candidates, evaluating their skills and experience.
  • Contribute to the development of our software engineering processes and practices, proposing and evaluating multiple approaches to technical and process problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of engineering experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge in at least one technical area, including frontend, backend, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Java, and GitHub.
