As the Range Lead, your responsibilities will encompass the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete all required Daniel Defense certification courses successfully.
  • Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism, adhering to company and team expectations.
  • Perform thorough inspections of upper and lower receivers for any manufacturing or cosmetic imperfections, as well as Armorer Quality checks according to Daniel Defense standards.
  • Assemble all Daniel Defense specific firearms in compliance with established standards.
  • Operate within the framework of all relevant operator work instructions, SOPs, quality, and safety procedures as directed by management.
  • Provide essential support, training, and development to team members to enhance Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
  • Contribute positively to the company’s standards of integrity, safety, equitable treatment, and a constructive work environment.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED; a minimum of 1 year of firearms experience or a combination of education and experience relevant to the position. Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must successfully complete the NRA Range Safety Officer course.
  • Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts as required and manage time effectively.
  • Identify and implement corrective actions for all Daniel Defense processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to align with our core values.
  • Understand that employees may be assigned to different departments, functional groups, and/or shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
  • Must be capable of working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machinery, noise, chemicals, and lights/lasers.
  • Required to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as dictated by your role and company policy.
