Essential Job Functions- Load and unload materials, equipment, and tools with precision and care.
- Prepare the worksite by cleaning and organizing the area for efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with equipment operators to ensure accurate alignment, movement, and adjustments of machinery and materials.
- Maintain a physically demanding workload, including bending, standing, and lifting throughout your shift.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols by wearing appropriate protective gear to mitigate risks associated with heat, noise, and potential hazards on the job site.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members to achieve project goals.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the construction project.
You will receive guidance and direction from a designated Supervisor. This position does not involve any formal supervisory responsibilities or authority over other team members.
Working ConditionsThe primary work environment for this role is both indoor and outdoor settings. You will be required to stand and walk for extended periods. The nature of the job involves frequent physical activities such as stepping, stooping, crawling, climbing, lifting, bending, kneeling, pulling, and pushing. Heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 55 pounds is a common requirement.
The work environment may expose you to certain hazards and physical risks, necessitating strict adherence to safety precautions. You may also encounter moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
Minimum QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
- Demonstrate the ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions clearly.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to follow them diligently.
- Be proficient in the safe use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Have the physical capacity to lift, push/pull, and manipulate heavy objects weighing up to 55 pounds.
