About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of transforming healthcare and serving as a leader of positive change.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing practices to provide safe and excellent patient care, adhering to the latest research, policies, and standards of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Administer medications utilizing the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure the safest delivery of medications.
  • Document patient assessments, plan-of-care, interventions, and evaluation of rendered care in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient transitions and continuum of care.
Requirements
  • Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license
  • BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association
  • BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire
  • At least one year of nursing experience
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs
  • Strong sense of accountability for improving patient lives and caregivers
  • Exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and passion for delivering high-quality care
