We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at WeatherTech. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a range of electrical construction and maintenance tasks, including conduit bending, wire pulling, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Maintain a clean construction site and ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
- Regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools and clean and prepare sites while also assisting other construction department personnel.
- Work a varied schedule consisting of day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday hours.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical construction; industrial & commercial experience a plus.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, climb steps/ladders, and routinely lift moderate to heavy objects.
- Combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
- Possess the willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and/or written instructions.
- Possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment.
- Great attendance and punctuality and be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
