Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures and exams
- Provide top-notch patient care, including feeding, bathing, and administering medication
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Communicate effectively with clients and veterinary team members
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
- 2 years' experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic, or 1 year experience and completion of a Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Science program
- Ability to work onsite in Middletown, NY at Guardian Veterinary Emergency
- Must be open to working on call and have reliable transportation
- Competitive hourly pay rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
