Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Communications Disorders Specialist to join our team at Andwell Health Partners.

Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Speech Therapist in a dynamic home health care environment. As a Communications Disorders Specialist, you will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to clients according to standards of practice outlined by the American Speech and Hearing Association.

  • You will assess and identify client needs, develop, implement, and coordinate plans of care that incorporate goals consistent with the client's age, condition, and needs.
  • Implementing client care plan activities based on treatment goals towards independent living for the client/family.
  • Continually assessing the client's need for speech & language interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions on the speech & language visit report.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's, Master's and/or Doctorate in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Certification of Clinical Competency from a speech accredited institution as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist License in the State of Maine.
  • Current CPR Certification (training available).
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • A reliable car with insurance.
